Love for Books
Instill in your child the love for reading. :)
Even before I attended school, my mom instilled in me the love for books. The first book that I remember owning was a hard bound copy of "Three Little Pigs". Now, it's my turn to instill in my son the love for reading. He's into dinosaur books. Whenever we go to the book store, I let him choose a book that he wants. When we go home, we read it together. I was planning to have a mini-library for him. I always wanted to bring him to a big library but I never got the chance yet. That's the next thing on my to-do list with my baby. Go to a big library with him. :)

Monkey see, monkey do. If we want our child to love books, we have to love reading too. I always read the newspaper in front of my kiddo so he'll know there is a whole new world in reading! :)
