He Plays Farmville!

When I logged in to my Facebook account, it is shown on the site that I have played Farmville. This came as a surprise! Even though I have Facebook and Friendster accounts, I rarely log in to them. I enjoy blogging more than anything else.

I was wondering who was using my account to play Farmville. Was it hacked or something? It turned out that my little boy had been using my account to play Farmville and another game called Yoville. I do not log out my account on the computer. He may have chanced upon a Farmville application on the screen. I let him continue playing games on Facebook. However, I try to limit the time to just an hour a day. I don't want him to be addicted playing online games.

School Shoes

My son needed a new school shoes. I promised him that we would go shopping this weekend. I let him choose the design he wants. I think he had a pretty good taste!

This is what he chose:

My mom also went with us. My son is very close to his grandmother.

After buying the stuff that we need, he played at the Sports Zone at the mall basement. He was actually very happy. I just asked him to show me a cute sad face.

Cuteness!

I think all parents find their children beautiful. They say, if it's only your mother who claims you have amazing good looks, then she may not be telling the truth. lol

What I like most about my son's facial features are his eyes. He has big expressive eyes with long eyelashes. It gets a lot rounder and bigger when he looks amazed or when he is asking me something and waiting for an answer from me. I don't think he got those eyes from me. Mine are small and almond-shaped. I can't express the joy that I feel when I watch him sleep and I realize just how lucky I am that God gave me a wonderful son.

Happy Birthday Mama!

You can never fully realize what pain you give your parents unless you become a parent yourself. I can attest to this statement. When I was in a lot younger, it annoys me when my mom meddles too much with the things I do. She seems to want me in her sight all the time. I feel like she's watching my every move.

When I ask her why she does that, she said she's just worried about me all the time. I had always wanted a little space from her. I guess at that point, especially when I was in my teens, I find it hard to understand her. My mom and I would argue a lot. Although I know she loves me, she sometimes gets on my nerves.

Fast forward 2004, I became a mother. When I experience the pain of giving birth, I was calling my mother's name. When it was my turn to be a mom, that's when I understood her more. Although I'm not much of a pain in the ass (like my brothers lol), I gave her headaches too. Happy Birthday Mama, I would like you to know that I appreciate you a lot for being a great mom and a friend to me.

Dairy Queen Time

When my sister and I feels like relaxing, we go to Dairy Queen and share a Banana split. Since we both got bored today, we went to the nearest mall and enjoyed a banana split together. It only costs P99. It's really yummy!

We share stories while finishing our desert. She is due to give birth soon and she's a first time mom. I am pretty excited about it because I have always wanted a baby girl. It's so fun dressing them up.

She had her ultrasound results and she was informed that she's expecting a baby girl. on the second week of September Right now, we are deciding on what name to give her baby. I suggested the name Danielle because one of my favorite authors is Danielle Steel.

Dinosaur Sticker Book

Did I mention in my previous post that Dwight loves Dinosaur Books? Whenever we go to the bookstore, he'd ask me to get him a dinosaur books. He already have a collection of dinosaur books in our bookshelf.

Here's the latest one that I got for him - A Dinosaur Sticker Book. There are missing body parts on the dinosaur's picture. From the page of stickers, you have to find the missing part and paste it in the dinosaur's picture. I let him do it on his own.

Yes, he was able to do it without my help. This activity would stimulates the child's visual perceptual skills.

Luckily, my son lets me take pictures of him while he is doing the activity. Sometimes, he can be camera shy. ;)

*The sticker book is actually relatively cheap. You can find it at National BookStore.
