Our Favorites

For now, I cannot say if my son got a lot or only a few of my traits. But we do have some common favorites when it comes to food. Since I discovered Nestle Nesvita Oatmeal Chocolate 3-in-1, we are now buying it on a regular basis because we love the taste (plus the fact that it is healthy).

Also, we share the same cravings for Tropicana Twister Juicy Pulp.

And of course, we both love chocolates. However, I try to control his chocolate eating habits. Too much of something is not good.

But he is so funny because he posts his Farmville updates on my profile. I have to delete them after. So, my little sister decided to create an account for him. Now, he can post all his Farmville updates on his own profile as much as he wants to.

Happy Grandparents Day!

Last Friday, Dwight's school invited grandparents of the students to attend their classes in commemoration of Grandparents Day. Today is actually the official Grandparents Day. It is celebrated in the U.S. on the first Sunday after Labor Day.

My mom was able to observe how they handle classes for the Nursery level. My son practically grew up with my parents. As the only grandchild, he is very close of them. My parents are very fond of him, that sometimes I have to stop them from spoiling him too much. lol

This is the card that he made and gave my mom on Grandparent's Day:

Oatmeal for Breakfast

My son learned to love eating oatmeal from his grandfather. He has been regularly eating a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. There's a lot of reason why oatmeal is good for you. Oatmeal is a good source of fiber which helps flush toxins out of the body. Research suggests that a diet which includes oatmeal may also help reduce high blood pressure. Eating oatmeal may also reduce the risk for type 2 diabetes and may actually reduce the risk for certain cancers. There's lot of benefits of eating oatmeal.

What I love most about it? It is so easy to prepare. I am thankful that instant oatmeal exists. It can be done in less than a minute!
