Car Donation to Charity

Generous people are admirable. I admire those celebrities who still have the time to help other people amidst their busy schedules. We do not have to be celebrities or big people to help out to the less fortunate. Donating to charitable foundations is one way of reaching out to the less privileged. But don't you know that by doing this, you also help yourself. For instance, if you donate your car to charity, you would pay less taxes. That depends on the value of the car too. All of you have to do is contact a non-profit charity foundation where yo can give some donations, and complete the paperwork.

If you want to help children, then look for charities supporting children. If your aim is to help prevent breast cancer, there are cancer car donations. In short, it's your choice on what charity foundation you would like to support. Most of them have website, you'd find their contact information.

Let's say you do not have time to bring your car to the location of the charity, you can call them to arrange pick up, especially for non running cars. Helping other is not a hassle. Besides, if you really want to help, you would willing exert some effort.

Missing Dwight

Dwight went home to the province for a vacation. Before he left, I can see that he was very excited to see his grandma, my siblings and the adorable Baby Tyra. I am missing my baby. When he's here, there are times that he can be a little brat ans gives me headaches. But I think that's how kids are. They can be the sweetest thing, but the next minute they can turn into little rascals. I am sure he is having a good time right now and my mom is taking care well of him.

Nice and Elegant Bathroom

The area of the house that I spend the most time cleaning and scrubbing is the bathroom. A nice and clean bathroom is very important. The materials inside the bathroom do not need to be very expensive. What's important is safety and quality. For the longest time, I wanted to replace our sink with a stone sink.

I prefer a marble sink like the picture you see below:

It looks nice and elegant. Since it's made of natural stone, then it can really last for a lifetime. I am sure my family would love it too!

Sexy Like Andromeda

When Dwight and I saw the movie Clash of the Titans, I was smitten by the beauty of the actress that played the role of Andromeda. I do not remember seeing her in other movies. So, when we went home, I searched online for her name. Her name is Alexa Davalos. I learned that she also appeared in movies such as The Chronicles of Riddick, The Mist, and Defiance. Aside from her pretty face, she's also definitely hot.

Sometimes, I find some women that have really pretty faces. But their beauty are overshadowed by their weight. If you want to be hot as Alexa try weight loss pills that work. Of course, exercise and right diet helps!

Sexy Betty

Among all cartoon characters, I think Betty Boop is the sexiest of them all. Whenever I see a picture of Betty Boop, it reminds me of my sister. One time while we were hanging out at the mall, she mentioned that she wants to become Bett Boop. "Oh you mean have a very big head?", I said. She was laughing at my remark. She said that Betty Boop does not seem to have weight problems. My sister gained weight when she got pregnant. So she has been looking for diet pills that really work. I suggested that she consult her doctor about it and see what she can recommend. Reading reviews online also helps.

Web Hosting

With my blogging experience since 2007, I may not consider myself an expert but I learned a lot of things about blogging. When I started, an online friend set up a Wordpress blog for me with a free domain. That's how my blogging journey started. When the domain expired, I put up my own blog using Blogger because it was free. I mastered using two different platforms. Until today, I have Wordpress and Blogger blogs so that I can enjoy the best of both worlds.

The next step was earning money online. When I started earning, my target was to have my own web hosting. There are very cheap ones which are very tempting but then again, I want a balance between quality and price. So, I read about web hosting reviews posted on various sites, to learn about what different web hosting companies offer to their subscribers.

Since I am looking to add more blogs, and still blog for as long as I can, I wanted a web hosting that can support many domains. Well, I guess I was lucky that I found some that can host unlimited domains and support unlimited domain transfers.

The next step was reading feedback written by other users on how good reliable the web hosting is. Even if it's reasonably price and can host a lot of domains, the question is, on the average how much downtimes will my blogs experienced. Downtimes means losing potential readers, and potential customers (if you have an online business).

After careful decision, I chose a web hosting I have been extremely satisfied with for the past three years. They have superb customer support. They have live chart support which is a good thing because I can contact them right away whenever problems arise.

So, if you are looking for the right web hosting, do your research so that you won't regret your choice and your money won't go to waste.

Summer Vacation

When I was a kid, every summer break, my dad will bring me to Manila. I get to stay at his place for around 2 months. Then go back home to the province when school is about to start. Next week, my son will be going to our province to visit his grandmother, my siblings and Baby Tyra. I will surely miss him. But at least he gets to spend summer in a different environment, where there's less pollution and less traffic (just mentioning the things I hate about the metro).

Latest picture of him:

No Longer Fits

"It no longer fits!" I think when that phrased is used, it's more likely that our clothes no longer fits because of weight gain. But when I saw the picture above, my mindset changed. It 's a lot better to hear that phrase, referring to a decrease in weight loss that's why the pants no longer fits. That picture should make people looking to lose weight more optimistic about losing some pounds. With the help of healthy diet, best weight loss supplements and regular exercise, you'd be the next person saying "It no longer fits!"

Beauty Product Testers

One of my favorite area at the department store is the area for beauty products. Usually when there are make up testers, I try it on the back of my hand. They said, that's advisable insread of trying in on your face right away.

Aside from that, one thing I am sensitive about is the smell of the product. For instance, when I choose a face cream, I make sure that I like the smell because for sure, I would be smelling it on my face the entire day.

The third criteria, and the most important for me, is that it works for sensitive skin. My face easily itches when it does not like the ingredients. Also, I read feedback online before buying products. If the reviews are consistently negative, I would not take the risk.

Air Hockey

Whenever Dwight and I go to Timezone, we play air hockey. I am an adult and he can easily beat me when it comes to that game. He plays well or maybe that suggests that I am not really good with it.

At an early age, he's very interested with sports. He wants to learn swimming, boxing, martial arts (karate and takewondo), tennis and everything that he sees on tv. I guess that's how kids are. When I have extra money, I will get a tennis table or air hockey table so we can play at home. Game tables sold online aren't that expensive. It's because they usually have promos and discounts.

Fish Pond

When we visited the Manila Ocean Park, Dwight had a blast watching the different species of fishes. The small ones and the big ones both amazed him. It reminded him of the pet fish that he used to have. The pet fish lasted for 3 months with us. On our way home, he told me that he wish we had a fish pond. I told him maybe we can have one as long as he helps me maintain its cleanliness. For that, we would need a fish pond filter.

Speaking of fishes, don't you find these koi fishes cute?

Boys Will Be Boys

Growing up, I was a girly girl. I did not know much about toys for boys even though I have two younger brothers. I was a lot more interested with my dolls and my books. The other day, Dwight mentioned that he wanted to have an atv when he grew up. I was trying to figure out what atv stands for. Well, I can always look it up online. ATV stands for all-terrain vehicle.

A good example is seen in the picture below, which I got from ATVMagOnline.com :

I told my son that he can have one when he becomes a big man. For now, I can get him atv toys.

For His Future

When I did not have a kid yet, planning about the future don't cross my mind as much as it does now. All I know is that, after finishing school, I would be working. Having a job means having the means to buy the things I want and to go to places that I have been dying to see. But when Dwight came into my life, my perspective about a lot of things changed. Of course, there were also shift in priorities. Since, I care more about the future now, having an insurance for me and Dwight is one of my must-have in my list. It's a good thing that insurance quotes online are readily accessible.

Missing Baby Tyra

I haven't seen Baby Tyra for over a month now and I am missing her everyday. She has to go home in the province with her mom. My sister updates me about her latest developments. Dwight misses her a lot too. Whenever we go to the mall and he will see something that he thinks Baby Tyra would like, he would ask me to get it for her. What I miss most are her coos and giggles.

Dwight is Gaining Weight

More often than note, adults do not like it when they realize they gain weight, or someone tells them they looked like they added some pounds. In Dwight's case, we were both happy that he gained weight. For the past few months, it has been such a difficult task to convince him to eat. He is so picky. But at last, he learned to like veggies. His vitamins (and my constant persuasion for him to eat) seems to be working well. I monitor his progress using the weighing scale at home. It's a good thing I spotted scales for sale at a discounted price at the mall a few months ago.

Regular Employee vs Freelancer

The good thing about being a regular employee is the perks and benefits you get. The previous companies I worked for gave free life insurance. As a freelancer, you have more control of your time. However, it does not come with health and insurance benefits.

It depends on what's more important to you. Well, if life insuarance is not free with your line of work, you can always get one for yourself. There are instant life insurance quote online if you want to get information right away.

Swimming Time

Dwight wants to learn how to swim. When we brought him to a resort, he was scared at first because he does not know how to swim. He keeps insisting he will just stay at the 2-feet pool. But after a while, he got used to the 3-feet pool. Then we tried the 4-feet high until he's no longer scared when we tried the other pools. He was really having fun. It shows in this picture:

New Notebook

Recently, my computer keeps restarting without warning. It does it randomly, and I do not not how to fix it. I had it checked by a computer technician, and it functioned well for a while. But after a week it keeps doing the same thing. Right now, I am saving for a new notebook computer. It's a good thing I am able to earn money online by participating in some forums. I would allot my earnings to be able to get a new pink notebook computer. When I told Dwight about it, he was very excited. He even suggested I should download games for him.
