As early as now, I can sense Dwight's love for cars. Whenever we go outside, th first thing he would look for are toy cars of different shapes and sizes. Never have I been really that much interested with cars. But since Dwight had been into toy cars, I became noticing cars more and ended up identifying what model it is.
Here in the Philippines, a car is not really a necessity. Most of the places you want to go, there's a public utility vehicle (bus, jeepneys, tricycles) that can take you there. What I know most about cars, I learned from my dad. He is such a good driver. he can drive from Manila to the province, which is 10-12 hours away from bus. But he can make the trip shorter because he is really familiar with the route. Whenever we go home to the province, there's a lot of bigger vehicles on the road such as buses and trucks. But may father is very cautious when it comes to driving. I asked him how come those trucks can really endure long trips after the other. He said that they may have really good
truck exhaust. That's why they are really good on the road. It's synonymous to saying that they have an upgraded exhaust system.
He tells me that having a car is not just about buying a car. An owner needs to make sure that the car is maintained well for it to work longer.
